Ah, nothing beats the sound of a record.. The dust on the record creating a crackling sound.. Yeah, I love high definition tv and audio.. But just like grain can set a mood in a photo, so can grain set a mood in a song..
Thank you for sharing! It reminds me I have some record photographs to share 😉
I am not much of a writer (at least not a good one!), but I agree that both arts go together very well. I remember when I was in my late teens, I was travelling in public transport, in London or Munich and I would have my headphones on. Listening to music while observing the outside world game me a new perspective on things. It would put me into a certain mood and I would see things I wouldn’t have noticed if I didn’t have my headphones on.
Thanks for the nomination, and thank you for the beautiful pics. 🙂
I was nominated for the “Liebster Award”. This award is meant to welcome (relative small) bloggers to the world of Blogging and I wanted to pass this honor on to you!
If you accept the award, please “pass it forward” and nominate 3 to 11 other people for this award.
Basically the rules are: Answer the 11 questions I have written for you on my blog, state 11 random facts about yourself and nominate 3 to 11 other people for an award.
Feel free to ignore this award if you are not into this sort of thing. The true purpose is to show you a small token of my appreciation for your blog and to let you know much I enjoy your photos!

Hi Tieme,
Thanks for your comment. I agree, I love the grainy sound of a record. Looking forward to seeing your record photos!
Have a good one!
Thank you for your reply Nathalie! I’m thinking of a moment to post these photos. I feel like blogging how music and photography go together..
Cheers,
Tieme

I figured I love writing a long time ago, but I guess not everybody likes it 😉
Now you say.. I believe I look at the world completely different when I listen to music. You’re right!
Happy listening and have a great week!
Kind regards,
Tieme
Aaand here’s your third nomination! Lol.
Thanks for the nomination, and thank you for the beautiful pics. 🙂

Nice … ooh. I’ve got some pictures of tape cassettes somewhere. Hang on while I find them ………………
Looking fwd to it! The good all tapes! Fun fact I still used a walkman until 2004ish!
Hello again … found my “cassettes” … here and here. They don’t deserve a blog post of their own. 🙂
Hey Andy! Joshua Tree, good choice! Cool photo! Btw the second link didn’t work
Doh! I tried to be clever. http://instagram.com/p/x1_b1Il3fb/ Anyway, all my rubbish is under andy__lewis 🙂
I know this is simple and there’s not much going on, but I find it to be rather brilliant. The colors. The words. /inlove
Simple is often the best, innit? Or as the expert would say “less is more” 😉
